Enhancement

No Enhancements (None) - Emeralds which have no enhancements have only the traditional process of cutting and polishing applied to them in order to improve their appearance and durability. Such emeralds are extremely rare and on average are about 300% to 500% more expensive than treated emeralds.

Standard - It is a standard and common practice to clarity enhance emeralds to reduce the visibility of fissures. Today, modern types of materials that are generally used to clarity enhance emeralds include cedar oil, polymer type resins and others.
